Oyak Concrete Environment and LHS (Labour Health and Safety) Integrated Management System that was documented on July 25, 2008 by SGS has passed the follow-up inspections carried out at the Headquarters, Etimesgut, Barkal-Adana and Adapazarı facilities with "0" nonconformity. During the inspection, the documentation and measurement tracking system built by OYAK Concrete was found very admirable by the inspectors.

The petroleum distribution companies, who transfer the imported petroleum to the fuel tanks situated at the coastal strip of Mersin-Kazanlı from the sea by using buoys, have come together and decided to execute the transaction by using concrete platforms that shall be built in the sea thus the transfers shall be more organised, more under control and more by an environmentalist approach.     

For this purpose, construction of the platforms started in June 2009. In this project 8-9 miles away from the coast, in 30-35 m depths bored piles of 80 cm in diameter will be hammered and 7 concrete platforms of 12x20x1.5 m in dimension each will be placed on the piles. Until now, OYAK Concrete has completed the concrete works of 3 platforms. The project is targeted to be completed by the end of September 2009.
